Part III is written in the printed score, but it may be omitted if desired.
When there are two versions available, you may purchase the three-part
choral score (catalog number given below), then sing only the two or
three parts you desire (they are melodies, so all the parts are not
necessary for a satisfying sound). Or you may purchase the two or
three parts individually, [in this case, either version I, (parts 1 & 3
without the bass clef or parts 1,3, & 4 with the bass clef) or version
II, (parts 2 & 3 without the bass clef or parts 2, 3, & 4 with the bass
clef)]. The last approach costs less, plus they are easier for beginning
students to read because only one part and the piano score appear on the
page. The score you will view and hear when you click the title
below is not available as a printed score. Below: WB means
