Your Table, Lord

Taken from Your Table is a sacred anthem to be sung during the
Lord's Supper or Communion. It is set for an SATB choir, SATB quartet, and piano or organ.
After the quartets's introduction, an original melody is introduced by the sopranos
accompanied by the alto, tenor and bass. A second melody
(the hymntune Picardy, most often set to the hymntext Let All
Mortal Flesh Keep Silence) is introduced by the women. The
final section joins the two melodies with the sopranos carrying the Pidardy
tune
as a descant above the remaining choir, in unison on the original melody.
