Songs about the sea have always
appealed to young men, particularly if they grew up near the sea.
Harry Swenson has skillfully set 19th century English poem by Alan Cunningham to music. It will stir the heart of any seaman and feed the imaginations of all young
man, even if they were grew up in the mountains or the great plains.
This
arrangement is best suited for all-boys groups with changing voices,
although it may be sung by mixed groups as well.
