Jesus, Priceless Treasure

This work by J.S.Bach is reputed to be one of the best-known chorales from the Baroque era. This arrangement has been set
for changing voices (SACB) or an adult choir (SSAB) with a minimum number of men.
The text has been
altered to reflect current usage; however, if the original version is
desirable, one may change four words in the composition and walk back into the
16th century.
Baroque chorales (the forerunner to the Protestant hymns) can be highly suitable
for young singers learning to sing in four-part harmony.
