This octavo is suitable for early adolescent
groups with changing voices (SSCB or SACB) or for groups without changing voices
who have more women than men (SSAB). There are two sets of texts; one in Latin
and one in English. The melodic contrapuntal voice parts provide an exciting approach to teach four-part music to young adolescent singers.
Andrea Gabrieli (c1520-1586) is one of the great Italian Renaissance masters, who served as composer and organtist at St. Mark's Cathedral in Venice.
